I have 30 years of experience with creativity
and non-linear states of awareness.

Since 1977 I have worked in both fine art and energy healing.  My undergraduate degree is from Rice University; my MFA is from the University of Houston.  My painting focus is the art of the Divine.  

My art reflects my lifelong interest in Higher Consciousness.  My imagery is inspired by meditations on Creation, particularly the continuum of formlessness to form, Spirit to matter.

Working with hands-on healing for 20+ years, I learned to “see” through my hands.  I started in Swedish massage.  Doing Polarity Energy Balancing (an Ayurvedic technique), my particular gifts began to emerge.  At the spa where I worked, a client reported me (mistakenly) for using electrodes on her, when I was using only my hands.  I got teased a lot about that by my colleagues.....but that’s another story. 

Flower essences have helped me immeasurably in my own healing over the years.  With profound respect for the power of flower essences to make inner work  and life in general easier, in 1999 I became a certified flower essence practitioner with the Flower Essence Society of California.

I received a solid theoretical and practical foundation in gently releasing emotions and trauma stored in the body in my ten years as a CranioSacral Therapist certified at the Techniques level by the Upledger Institute.

In my years prior to becoming a massage therapist, I worked as a home birth midwife and taught women’s self-help.  Being deeply involved in the birth process gives me a powerful affinity for creation on all levels, including creating health, making art, and being a catalyist for the consciousness shift that is touching our lives.

In 1997, I started a private practice called Mind-Body Healing.  Gradually I was guided to let go of doing bodywork in order to re-organize my life around my art and the Akashic Records.
