The Akashic Records are a domain of wisdom. The Records contain the blueprints for the potential of our soul’s evolution throughout time, and the history of our soul’s journey, from the time it leaves its point of origin, until its return. Our stories are recorded in the Records.

A reading is an attunement.

Akasha is a Sanskrit word meaning sky, space or ether. Ether refers to “inner space” or consciousness. The term Akashic Records describes an etheric library or library of consciousness. From a Jungian perspective, it a way to enter both the personal and the collective unconscious, and make them conscious.

The concept of the Akashic Records is consistent with teachings at the heart of diverse spiritual traditions. Mystics and seekers throughout the ages have drawn wisdom, inspiration and insight from the Records. This capacity exists in ordinary

I formally open and close the Records to keep a boundary around the work, which protects the integrity of the process.

To open the Records, I use the Pathway Prayer, as taught by Linda Howe, founder of the Center for Akashic Studies, www.akashicstudies.com. When the Records are open, I access information that is not normally available to me. I stay fully present and aware while reading your Records for you.

I do not remember your reading for you later. Once your Records are closed, the information belongs to you and only you. I open your Records only by your request and with your permission.

I cannot open another person's Records for you. If you want someone you care about to have a reading, they must ask for it. This does not mean you cannot give a reading to someone as a gift, but they must schedule their own reading.

I cannot give a reading to anyone under the age of 18. Recieving a reading requires a level of maturity and is not appropriate for children.

If you are concerned about someone who cannot have a reading for whatever reason, you may ask questions about this person during your reading. You will receive information about what you can do to help, or what your part is.

How to prepare for a reading:

When you schedule your reading, give yourself the conditions you need to attend to your inner life.

If you are calling from your home or office, choose a time when you will be uninterrupted. You will receive more benefit when you are open and present.

A reading transcends analytical thinking. Open your heart to receive divine knowing. You will get what you need. Your intellect will be asked to become the loving observer, to give up control, to surrender to your soul’s needs.

Contemplate the bigger issues of your life. Take time to “feel in” to your life. Many people have a burning question that they want answered. You may bring questions to ask, but you are not required to do this.

After your reading, schedule some time to enjoy how you feel and integrate the session. Besides receiving information, you are also receiving healing.

Let Love in: your readiness to receive enhances your session

To receive, it is important that you be comfortable. You may sit or lie down. You may want water to sip. Many people like to light a candle, or have flowers in the room. Once you are comfortable, I check in with you, and ask you what brings you to the Reading.

We take cleansing, grounding breaths together, to bring our focus into present time and release the outside world. When we are ready, I offer both a silent and a spoken invocation to open your Akashic Records.

As your Records open, we begin with clearing and releasing, to create greater coherence in your field. This helps you release “mental clutter,” that which is not you, and further prepares you to receive. If called for, I may use sound, play a Tibetan singing bowl or use my own voice in toning.

Your reading is a creation in present time.

Relax, soften and feel the safety and unconditional love and support that surrounds us.

The Records do not tell you what to do. They will show you several possibilities, but the choice is always yours.

Some choices will bring you to Higher Consciousness. Some will bring more peace and greater ease into your life.

The Records help you know what is in your Highest Good.

If you choose, I will record your reading for you at no extra charge. For many of my clients, their recordings have lasting value. Readings are recorded digitally, and I will email you an mp3 file.

You will be in a very relaxed state during your reading.

Subtle levels of energy are transmitted. The information given is layered, with more relevance and meaning than most people are able to assimilate on the spot. Many of my clients like to listen to their recorded sessions repeatedly, to receive and integrate the healing sensations and the information over time.

You will hear something new each time you replay your session. You will absorb the meditations and healing at deeper levels. Some clients do not want their reading recorded. The choice is yours.
